When I was a child I had a distinct fascination with ducks. I used to love to go to the duck pond and feed them bread crumbs. Daffy and Donald Duck were my two favorite cartoon characters. Also while everybody else has teddy bears I had a stuffed duck. So you can imagine my surprise and my delight to find out that Miami Beach has a tour company called Miami tours and Miami attractions.
I was visiting down there recently with my husband and our two children. We all love to travel to Miami Beach for vacation. My children are ages twelve and nine. They were the first ones to notice the Miami tours and Miami attractions bus drive by us on our secondary there. I had vaguely heard of the floors before but I never really knew what they were. I did know however that they do have them in multiple states. So anyway my family and I were walking on the beach walk behind Lummis Park on Ocean Drive.
This is a great morning activity that we like to do every day that we are in Miami. My husband and I think it really refreshes us and gets this ready for our exciting day of vacationing. It is always just so beautiful out there in the morning. It’s not the kind of place where you want to sleep in and miss it.
So as we were walking my nine -year-old boy started pointing and yelling for us to look at this crazy looking vehicle that was driving down the street. My husband and I saw it, and then we looked at each other not knowing what it really was that we were seeing. As it got closer, however we could see more of what was going on and we sure could hear it. The Duck vehicle was filled to the rim with people and there is a big loud speaker booming from it.
Then all of a sudden, all at once, all the people on the vehicle started quacking at the same time. We all looked at this vehicle in awe and fascination. Our children quickly started begging us to get us tickets for the Miami tours and attractions. Of course they knew that I had a passion for ducks because I have many duck figurines and statues back home in Massachusetts. So I believe that I was just as excited to take the Miami tours and Miami attractions as they were.
If not more! So our next step was to figure out how we can get ourselves on to the party. My husband suggested that we just had back to the hotel and asks our concierge if they can set us up on the Miami tours and Miami attractions. If they weren’t able to do that then it was no problem for us to just go online and look it up ourselves. Fortunately our concierge was able to accommodate us with the Miami tours and Miami attractions activity. He also informed us that they are always busy and that it was one of the most popular activities to do on the entire Miami Beach. He certainly was not kidding because when he tried to book us a reservation for the next day they were already filled up and so was the day after that.
Luckily for all of us though there was an opening for four on the third day. Over the course of the following days we saw the Miami tours and Miami attractions driving by us quite frequently which was only adding to our anticipation of going on it ourselves. Finally our day came to do the tour. The whole thing was wonderful. My whole family loved it. The tour was very interactive. It was very comical and it was very exciting, especially when the vehicle drove right into the water.
Everyone just had so much fun and it was such a blast when everybody would quack at the same time! If you are ever in Miami you should definitely take the Miami tours and Miami attractions even if you are not excessive about ducks like I am. You will still have an experience that you will always remember.
